Building on the hard work of the last few years, Kodiak Jack find themselves refreshed and ready to reveal their new look and new songs and prove the plaudits the first album received were fully justified.

Hailing from the South Coast of England, Kodiak Jack are a five piece hard rock outfit consisting of Bryn (vocals), Jeff (lead guitar), Jon (guitar & backing vocals), Keiran (drums) and Kev (bass).

Their debut album ‘Your Death: My Glory’ was released in late 2011 and gained critical acclaim across the board with Classic Rock, PowerPlay and FRONT magazine amongst those that hailed its release.  Radio airplay followed and BBC Introducing, along with many National and Regional stations all picked up on the catchy hooks and driving riffs that define the album.

Various tracks have been lifted from the album with ‘Wasted Youth’ featured on a ‘Best Of British’ CD featured on an international edition of Metal Hammer, ‘Waves’ used on the closing credits for Eurosports British Superbikes coverage and no less than five tracks were featured on Rumble Rides: Muscle Drag DVD that was released in the USA On stage Kodiak Jack have built up a reputation for their energetic live shows which has seen them build a loyal fan base  and earn them support slots with Canadian metallers Kobra & The Lotus, guitar legend Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big & Racer X), Everything Everything and Ex Thunder guitarist Luke Morelys band ‘The Union’  to but a few.

January 2013 saw the band invited to record their new album with Brian Wheat, bassist with US Rock Gods, Tesla.  Laying down eleven tracks that will form the upcoming new record, the band can now count Brian as a fan, so much so he has been sporting his very own Kodiak Jack T-shirt, most recently when he took to the stage here in the UK for the Classic Rock AOR festival in April!

The first single lifted from the new album is ‘Brother’, released as a digital download and Limited Edition 7” picture disc it is out now and has been featured heavily on Planet Rock radio as a regular track.

The new single Wasted Youth will be released at the beginning of December and the Album is due early 2014.
